happy sunday blessing nation.
it's been chilly but sunny in chicago. i'm on my 9-5 grind lately and very thankful to get to enjoy the weekends off.

i've been reading clarice lispector, crow by ted hughes, watching a lot of john carpenter movies, super into cappuccinos with raw sugar, and met an old, fat chihuahua named lisa at an irish pub where you can throw peanuts on the floor last weekend. finally went to the art institute of chicago (on labor day weekend) and it was a nightmare. i got in for free though because i panicked and lied that i was a SAIC student. don't tell please.
applying to an MFA program for next year in upstate NY and sending some work to art shows coming up. i'm also going to switch to flip-phone life soon. have i gone off the rails? maybe.
oh, and listening to a lot of Bowery Electric's Beat and Artificial Intelligence by Various Artists on Warp Records. so good.
